Proposal
A group of secondary core French teachers have met to work on a passport that will help facilitate transitions from elementary to secondary school. This framework was designed to allow students to progress with their language acquisition at their own rate of learning. This has led to a significant conversation around shifting language pedagogy. This approach to personalized language learning is a departure from the norm of language learning and parallels foundational literacy and numeracy research.
